USA Visa Fee: $US160
SEVIS Fee: $US35
Proof of Funds
To be allowed to enter USA on a 4 month J-1 visa you must show a proof of funds of $US600 if you arrive with a job offer and $US1,000 without a job offer.
Insurance
US immigration law requires those travelling on a J-1 visa to have comprehensive travel insurance by an approved travel insurer for the duration of the visa. A condition of our Work USA program is that all participants must enroll for the travel insurance cover provided by IEP New Zealand. Details of our insurance policy will be sent to you after your application has been received or contact IEP at 0800 443 769 for more details.
Applying
The Work USA program will be open in April 2012. To apply all you have to do is clickhere and fill out the contact details and pay the program fee. Once that is complete we will be in touch start on the obtaining the visa.
