Jobs in the UK
One of the scariest and most intimidating things about moving to the other side of the world is not having a job when you arrive. We totally understand and that is why we provide support and guidance the entire time you are working in the UK.
Two weeks prior to departure you will have access to an online database of job listings throughout the UK, where you will be able to apply for work before you even leave New Zealand.
A lot of our participants find work in the hospitality and tourism sectors as these jobs are plentiful. But for those who are a little bit more career oriented jobs can be found within their desired business sectors. IEP has lots of jobs in London, as well as all over the UK! You can do almost any job, anywhere on this program!
Once in the UK you will have access to the job boards at the employment resource center in London as well as access to computers, internet, fax and printers to assist you in your searches. Every Thursday there is an Employment Workshop where they will review how and where to find certain types of work, interview scenarios, CV help and much more!
Not sure what things are going to cost you when you arrive? Take a look at this guideline!
